The structure of the optical cable is to place the optical fiber (or optical fiber ribbon) between two parallel strengthening members and then extrude a layer of flame-retardant polyolefin sheath (LSZH), or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath; the number of fiber cores can be 1-core, 2-core, 4-core.
